I am used to RPG and PC games, I've been playing them for 20 years, so I am used to changing key bindings (especially as I'm left-handed) within games. It's starting the game from there onwards that's the problem, so I am unable to get to char creation, so I am therefore unable to look into inventory, character window etc. I can load the actual game (I'm not getting any of the older white screen, crashing etc problems), and I can get to the Main Menu of the game. So it would seem I am just unable to actually start the game play itself. If key bindings options are only available one you start playing an actual game, then that explains why I cannot change the key bindings. Continue (for a previous saved game) is greyed out and not clickable. Unfortunately the problem is I can't even start a game to get a saved game, or access a created character.Įvery time I try to click on New Game, it takes me to Screen Options, I click any of the options to confirm, back default (by mouse, no controller), and it takes me straight back to the Main Menu where I can click on New Game again. I cannot actually get the game play to start, nor can I find anywhere to change the keybindings. I click New Game, and get taken to a window titled Screen Options. No matter what I click my mouse on at the bottom of the window (A:Confirm, B:Back, Y:Default) I get taken back to the Main Menu. When I press New Game I get taken to a window that is titled Screen Options. I make sure the video settings are correct, and then press New Game. I load up the game successfully, and get to the main menu. So please refrain from any comments about me not using a controller.
Secondly, I don't have an XBox in any variant and I don't use a controller - I hate the damn things - I'm a mouse and KB (well gamepad) gal. To start, I have just spent nearly an hour trying to search for similar issues to mine, but no joy, so it must be something retarded that I'm doing, and I apologise in advance for that heh.
